Our Story

Precision Plastic Products, Inc. first started business in 1980, in a small Quonset hut with 1800 sq. ft. of space on Pickering Street, Portland, CT We incorporated December 1, 1981. We first started with three family members, Edward A. Organek, Sr., President and Treasurer. Edward A Organek, Jr., Vice President. Rosemarie S. Organek, Secretary.

Edward Organek, Sr. Graduated Vinal Regional Technical School as a machinist in 1958 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves. After active duty he started work and finished his apprentice program at Sabar Industries in Rocky Hill, Ct. In 1975, started work at Protomold Plastics in Rocky Hill, Ct. and became Vice President. He worked there for five years and then we started our own business.

Edward Organek, Jr. graduated Vinal Regional Technical School as a machinist in 1982. While still in school, worked part time at Protomold Plastics and finished his apprentice program there. In 1980 he joined Precision Plastic Products, Inc. as Vice President.

Rose Organek graduated in 1959 at Cromwell high School. After marriage in 1961, stayed home to raise a family. In 1971 went to work at the Cromwell Town Hall as Assistant Tax Collector. In 1977 went to work for St. John's Church in Cromwell, Ct. In 1983, Joined Edward Organek Sr. (husband) and Edward Organek Jr. (son) in the business as Human Resources & Secretary.

In 1983 we purchased building at 151 Freestone Avenue, Portland CT. The building stands on 3.5 acres of property and is 30,000 sq. ft. 20,000 sq. ft. in warehouse space and 10,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

Magdalena Organek (Wife of Edward Organek Jr.) assumed the role of Human Resources in 2013 after the retirement of Rose Organek. 

Matt Organek (son of Edward Organek Jr.) worked for the company while attendning Vinal Regional Technical School for Machine Tool. He worked his way up learning the different sides of an injection molding facility. Matt then left in 2005 assuming a role at  Tri-Town Precision Plastics in the Quality & IT Departments seeking a wider scope of industry knowledge.  He then returned to Precision Plastics in 2012 as the Quality Manager.

Edward Organek Jr. took over the role of President in 2015 after the passing of Edward Organek Jr. Carrying on his legacy of providing the highest quality plastic parts and even higher customer service.

As a custom injector molder, we now employ 20+ people with 18 state of the art molding machines and  many automated machines. We do our own tool design work, tool building, and mold plastic parts in house.
